We just installed Adobe Standard DC.  How do I set it so that when printing from Word it will automatically go to High Quality Print, and create searchable text?  I tried the properties dialogue in Word, but it won't stay as a default, it always goes back to standard.  Thank you.

Hi Luanne

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you want to set high quality print as the default printing option when printing from Word.

Are you using the option 'Print to PDF' or 'Print to Adobe PDF' from the printer list?

You can also try using Acrobat ribbon in the Word tool bar at the top. Click on the Acrobat ribbon and go to Preferences > Under PDF maker settings, set the conversion setting as 'High Quality Print' > Click OK  and see if that works for you
