Highlight tool bin icon

I'm not quite sure what to call it, but I'm using the highlight tool for the first time & every time I highlight the text, a little palette appears with a colours selection thing & a bin, just below where I've highlighted & covers up the next thing I want to highlight! A total pain.

I mean, I get why it might be useful to have this nearby, but can I move it, the way I can move (or switch off) the coordinates box in Photoshop?

If not, that needs to be added in.

Go to Menu - Preferences - General, and tick off "Show quick actions on text selection".

That's really good to know, thanks. I'm actually looking at these PDFs in a browser, so I have the tools but not the preferences, as far as I can see, but I can easily save the PDFs in future.
