Highlight tool - Error

The highlight tool keeps getting deselected after highlighting anything. Since I use the highlight tool a lot and keep adding comments as I read a document the issue is causing a lot of inconvenience. How do I resolve the problem?

You can pin the tool.

Right click on the toolbar and look for "Customize Quick Tools"

Using the Highlight tool from the Comment menu, check this Pin tool to keep the tools selected.

If you use Highlighter from the quick tool, you'll not find this pin icon. You need to navigate it through the Comment Tool.
