When i try to highlight a word, the program superimposes a large oval-shaped yellow highlight the height of the entire document screen and of a width about 3x the size of the word I attempted to highlight. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone advise how to fix? Thank you.
This is usually the result of a bad OCR process, or a faulty PDF page structure.
Not much you can do about it, I'm afraid, short of re-creating the file from scratch (Export all pages to high-resolution images; Create a new PDF file from those images; Run Text Recognition on the new file).
Hi! I had the same issue - the oval-shaped yellow highlight and also a very large vertical cursor that prohibited me from choosing text. This document came from downloading from a website and I printed to pdf. The fix for me was rather than "printing to pdf", I "saved" the document. This issue was resolved for me. Using Windows 11.
