Highlights in Saved PDF Disappeared

I was working on a PDF that I had saved to Cloud, but I lost Internet connectivity so I hit the "Save to Computer and Cloud' option, but now I can't find the version with the highlights anywhere! Is there anyway to get the highlights and comments back? This is really important for my dissertation and I've lost a bunch of annotations 😞

As mentioned, while saving the file internet connection was lost. We assume that your highlights were not saved successfully.

If your document is not saved locally, or you are working on a pdf file that is an email attachment and not downloaded on your machine, then there are chances that any changes will not be saved.

You can look for the file in the online storage once, in case you have a copy there. Login to Acrobat online here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/

It's better to keep your file on Document Cloud storage first and then start changing it. This way, the file will automatically save changes and keep it on the cloud. You do not have to hold it manually.
