i am running a digital filing cabinet, with all searchable paperwork for the business.
I am trying to automate lots of actions to save time.
I use outlook 2010 as my email provider.
I receive emails from paypal advising me of purchases that have been made
I want to automatically convert each individual email to a searchable pdf
and save it to a Paypal folder, in my file explorer
i do this manually by right clicking and clicking convert to pdf.
however this is very time consuming
any suggestions would be gratefully received.
thank you

I wonder if you might benefit by right clicking on an Outlook folder (instead of an individual email itself) and converting the folder to PDF Portfolio. You would be able to perform a find in the individual contained PDFs, or a search across the entire contents of the portfolio. You could use Outlook's Rules to compartmentalize your inbox into folders and convert them this way.
My best,
Dave

Your end result is a PDF Portfolio, which is a packaging of PDFs inside a PDF container. The files contained within are normal PDFs, and can be extracted out of the portfolio at any time. If you've never used PDF portfolios, give it a try. they are super-handy, in my opinion, and might help your automation needs.

Dave

Yes - I do see, in the Acrobat ribbon in Outlook, a "Setup Automatic Archival button. That might be worth exploring. I will be away from my computer for a bit. Give it a try to see if it can help - and let me know! I'll run some experiments when I get back as well.
My best,
Dave
