How can I disable the Employer Agreement Number Prompt?

I am trying to modify actor contracts sent to me from an affiliated organization that a third party needs to sign once we have drafted the contract details.

We are prompted to enter an Employment Agreement Number each time we open one of these contracts, which is fine because we are the employer. The problem arises when the third party tries to open the pdf and can't because they cannot access our EAN.

How do we disable this so that the third party can open the contract and e-sign without needing to enter the EAN?

That is most likley a repsonse box in a document level script that runs when the document is opened.  If the document is not encrypted you can disable it by removing the script or commenting that part of it out.  In Acrobat, press Shift + d while in form editing mode to open the document scripts window.  If the document is encrypted you can disable it by turning off JavaScript, there might be scripts in this document and others that require it.

The document is encrypted. Disabling JavaScript was not effective in enabling the sign feature. It still says the document can't be modified. I can see the correct names in the web version of Adobe, but I cannot modify the document. Downloading the document and trying to open it still gives the EAN prompt. If I hit cancel on that, the contract opens up and says "invalid contract" where the third party's name should be.

If it's encrypted there's nothing you can do.

Thank you for providing concise, fact-based solution suggestions that are not patronizing, unlike other responses to my inquiry. We have been able to find a workable solution.

Since this is not your form, you really aught to speak with the owner to see if they can help you. Otherwise you are pirating someone else's property.

We're not pirating anything, thank you, and we've already contacted
the company that sent us the generic contract form. I came here after
following all of the directions from the document owner step by step
without success because the password cannot be removed from the file, which
prevents the third party from being able to sign. Thanks for the
patronizing response, though. Maybe you ought to consider refraining from
commenting unless it's something more productive than condescending.

Warmest Regards.

My answer is not patronizing.

It is a fact, the form was acquired from an organization that encrypted it.  Obviously they felt the needed to protect it. You suggested making unauthorized modifications to use it outside the intended purpose. That is actually pirating someone elses property.  You are guilty.

You also didn't mention you'd already contacted the owner. That would have been helpful.  So again your fault for not providing complete information.

Take your lumps and be honest about what you are doing.
