Why would you want to install both Reader and Acrobat Pro? Acrobat Pro is a superset of Reader. Reader isn't needed at all if you have Acrobat Pro installed!

First, I thought I was directed to the ftp page where I could download the install file where I could choose the installation destination. Turned out to be for the reader. Didn’t see until instal was finished. So... I need the ftp link for acrobat Pro DC so I can use that install program. Changing preferences in CC did not have the desired effect . I then plan to uninstall reader since it was not what I was looking for and don’t need it.

I have both Adobe Reader and Acrobat installed. Since most people only have Reader, when I'm working on a project for a client I like to test it in Reader. That way I know that my PDF will work correctly for them.
