How do I clear the blue highlight from a fill in form?

I have a fill in form that has all the areas that have a text box highlighted in blue. 

How do I get rid of that?

Go to Tools - Forms - More Form Options (or just More, depending on your version) and de-select "Highlight Existing Fields".

I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end and the application is working as expected. 

As you have the application updated to the latest version, you may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/4k1Qh9F and see if that works.

 

If it still doesn't work, please share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs along with the version of the OS you are using on your device for more clarity.

I did the precess and it worked fine, BUT if I open the PDF using Edge, the highlight blue appears again.  Is there a way for not to see when opening the PDF form on EDGE?

I went to MENU > PREFERENCES > FORMS > HIGHLIGHT COLOR > and I de-selected "Show border hover color for fields", but nothing changed. I continue to see that ridiculous blue highlight color. How can I fix it? Please. Thanks. -- version: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) (24.005.20414)
