• Got to Preferences
• Then click on General
• to the right of that page, see the section "Messages from Adobe"; untick the checkbox "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat"

This has never worked for me. I still receive the disruptive, irritating pop ups that I do not need nor want. Is there another setting in the millions of settings for this app that will turn these off for good?
