How do I enable plug-in for Adobe DC Pro?

I've installed "callas pdfgohtml 2.0."  However, the plug-in does not show up in my Adobe DC Pro in the Menu as "Plug-ins".  I've seen in YouTube where others have installed that particular plug-in, but never showed how.  I would like know how to enable that plug-in so that it would show up in my Windows and Mac versions of Adobe DC Pro.

Hi Arthur,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Callas PDFgohtml 2.0 is a non Adobe Application, there isn't much that we can do. You may please try to get in touch with the Callas support team for more information.

Amal

There are a lot of non-Adobe applications that allow plug-ins to be Adobe. How is this any different?

The point is that plug-ins aren't make by Adobe. This one is made by Callas. They are the people you need to talk to. It drives the people who make plug-ins crazy when people don't ask them for help. Make sure you use the official plug-in, direct from Callas, not one you found somewhere else on the internet.

Thank you. I tried reaching out to them. To no avail.

Still, assuming you installed it right - and used the Mac version on Mac and Windows version on Windows - they are likely to be the only people who can help.

After installing the plug-in, with Adobe Acrobat Pro open,

  • click on the three dots in your toolbar
  • choose Customize Toolbar
  • scroll down and look for callas
  • click the triangle to open it
  • select pdfGoHTML
  • click Add to Toolbar.

Open your PDF document and click on the new pdfGoHTML icon (give it a moment as it converts the pdf to HTML format) and use the tabs at the top to view/check the PDF.

This method worked well on the new Acrobat Pro Version 2023.008.20470
