How do I generate an HTML file after editing a PDF?

Hello,

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I edit PDF files via "Prepare Form". I add fields, change field properties, and add JavaScript to most fields as well.

I need to be able to generate an HTML version of the PDF with all of the fields and code that I've added.

I've tried exporting it to different types of files and I've even tried File --> Export To --> HTML Web Page. The HTML Web Page creates a version without any of the fields or other parts that I've added.

Is there any way that I can generate an HTML with the parts I've added.

-With regards,

Someone who is eagerly looking for an answer.

As noted, this is not possible with either Acrobat or Reader. One will not be able to create the form fields and associated JavaScript for the form processing.

If you want to create an HTML form, it's a mistake to involve PDF at any stage of the process. There are many tools to design HTML forms directly.

Hello Test Screen Name,

You do bring up a valid point. However, for my particular work, I have to create both a PDF version and an HTML version.

You mention that there are many tools to design an HTML form directly. Can you tell me some of these tools? Also, is it possible in these tools to generate a PDF from an HTML?

I recommend designing the two forms independently. However, Acrobat will convert HTML to PDF including very simple forms (without scripts). Creative Cloud includes a variety of HTML tools but I am not familiar with them; they probably don't make simple forms. I make my simple HTML forms by editing HTML directly, it's just a few lines for a simple form.
