How do I get a PDF to save after rotating it?

I'm using Acrobat X Pro 10.  It was working fine and would allow me to rotate a file page (generated from a CAD drawing) to the proper orientation and directly save it that way.  I had a hard-drive failure adn after reinstalling and updating the program, the 'save' button is disabled.  When I do a 'save as' and select the same file name it prompts to ask if I want to overwrite it.  Even if I choose 'yes', when I go back adn open the file, it doesn't save the new orientation.  Any help on getting this resolved would be greatly appreciated.

There isn't a 'Rotate adn File' option in my Pages menu.  There's a 'rotate' option which has a submenu that allows you to select orientation, odd/even pages, tec..  but no rotate and save option,

You need to make sure you're actually rotating the pages, not just viewing

them rotated... The later will indeed not be saved when you close the file.

That was it.  I was just rotating the view - not the page, so it was't allowing me to save it since no actual change to the page had been made.  I really need to go through the turorials for this software and learn it better.  I spend so much more time using AutoCAD and other software that it's sometimes hard to toggle modes.  Thanks a lot for your help!
