The update is terrible. Comment tools are complicated and/or missing. Nothing is where it was
How can I reinstall the last version??
To revert to the old interface:
Hi All!
Hope you are doing well.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change; however, we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive and get more out of Acrobat.
We are actively working on any unavailable features, such as customizing the All Tools positioning or user interface. And we will address them with the highest priority.
A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features

I want to complain bitterly about this wholly unnecessary, useless, and impenetrable "update." It was fine. Who asked you to meddle with the original interface? Why couldn't you have left it alone? What is the matter with all you tech companies (this includes Microsoft and its incessant ridiculous and wholly un-user-friendly tinkering with Windows, and now Google is threatening to change its interface as well; there is nothing wrong with the current one, it is refreshingly simple and uncluttered) constantly trying to mess with our screens? Do you think calling it "an experience" will make it better? "Nightmare" would be correct: an "experience" I don't need. I have better things to do with my time than trying to decipher yet one more way to do the same thing. At least you had the humility to recognize that we might not all be as enraptured by this futile absurdity as you are, and gave us the opportunity to go back to what was perfectly fine before. So think twice before meddling with the interface again.

I couldn't have said it better myself! What a nightmare and a complete waste of my time. I'm so relieved to be working in the previous version again.

Nope, please just abandon this new design and stay with the old one.

Judging by the comments, and my experience with the disastrous new version of Acrobat Pro, people are NOT going to get familar with the new interface, because it's impossible to be productive using it. So many things were moved, renamed, or gotten rid of (like the text box tool) for apparently no reason. There were also floating toolbars that could not be docked. It now sounds like you're trying to do damage control on a new version that should have never been tried or released in the first place. The old version was fine, the new version is just "fixing what was not broken." But thank you for allowing us to disable the new version, as we can now go back to working productively with Acrobat. Please - do NOT release new versions like this again.

The new version is horrible. We've reverted all of our workstations back to the old versions.

This response presumes that, in the new display in Adobe Acrobat, one can find 'menu'. I simply cannot locate any of the old tools which I used all the time, or any way of getting to them. Under 'tools' I get headings Convert, Edit, Sign, More, but no 'File' or 'menu', and I have wasted time clicking on everything else that I can find, to no avail. Some other comments suggest that pressing 'F0' will show menus. This does not work either. I need, desperately, to get on with basic tasks on pdf documents and to this end am planning to pay for a non-Adobe product and if that works, to discontinue using Adobe. This is a shame, as I like a lot of Adobe's features. But, for me, the changes have rendered Adobe Acrobat unusable.

The new version of Acrobat is a productivity killer!!! I am glad I could revert to the old version, and I do not want to be forced into this new interface. It is clear that you did not listen to your beta testers, as I am sure their heads exploded at the sight of this new interface. If you do not listen to the community, and force this change I will find another vendor.

You must have been recruited by a rival company to sabotage actobat, with it' s unintuitive arabic type layout, good for people used to reading from left to right. I hope you get struck by lightning.

I am a Professional Engineer in structural design. The new version of Adobe, even when you revert to the older interface, is garbage. Editing a pdf has become a complete nightmare. FYI, I do not work for any competitor of Adobe.

Dear Adobe Team,
this UI update is the worst thing you could have done to anyone. My productivity has tanked because it is impossible to locate anything and click it fast. I hate it!

You know, Tariq, telling everyone that you hope we get familiar with the new "garbage" update does nothing to make anyone feel better about Adobe. We are your customers and are paying you, yet you are not providing what we want or need and expect us to still continue to pay you. You have not made sure that all things necessary to using the program on a professional evel are included (HORIZONTAL SCROLL BAR and ABILITY TO EDIT COMPLEX FILES!!!!!!!) nor have you made sure they actually work (see above). No one I can find online likes the changes that were made to Acrobat, so why is Adobe so reluctant to go back to what worked and what people liked? Did you throw away the old coding and have no way to go back to it? Seriously, I just don't get it. I curse Acrobat multiple times daily because it makes doing my job so much harder than it should be. WHY, Adobe, WHY?

Can you please stop completely changing the interface everey year?
I usea Adobe PDF reader for work every day and it's incredible anoying to have to re lean the interface every year. I wish my company adopted an alternative that doesnt do this. This changes really affect my everyday work.

Hello.
Even though I have been using this program for many years, it seems like a completely different program with this new interface. The menu on the left has gone to the right, the ones on the right have gone to the left, and many menus have disappeared and are hidden somewhere. Frankly, I don't understand how you thought we could be more productive this way, thank God for putting a return button on the old workspace.

Thank you for the VIdeo, It works like a Charm! I was really considering going back to an earlier version of Acrobat. Unfortunately the developers are not frequent users of this program, and when creating an update, they do not use common sense. Thanks!

This is a utility, not a fashion statement. You can enhance features without redesigning the user interface. I know! Let's design the next car model to have the steering wheel in the trunk while the driver's seat remains up front, but just to jazz things up we'll also make the driver sit on the right side of the car rather than the left. We'll call it innovation!

I totally agree. The latest Acrobat update is atrocious. Horrible. Why would you completely change the pretty much where everything used to exist? It's just ludicrous. This is NOT an improvement! Adobe please stop this nonsense! Oh and thanks for giving us the option to opt out and revert back to the old version!

Adding myopinion that the new interface is terrible. Did you talk to any U/X people before you made this decision? People want things to be intuitive. They do NOT want to have to search through more drop-down menus!

I agree! The new version is terrible, and no matter how many times and say I want to go back to the OLD version, the powers the be decide FOR ME to switch it back to the new version. Why can they not just listen.

The updated interface is dreadful! I've encountered another issue following the recent update to the new Acrobat version. I've got a price list formatted on A4, double-sided, with a 5% black background on both sides. Strangely, when I generate a PDF from InDesign, the first page in Acrobat displays the gray background, but the second page turns out white. Interestingly, when I opened the file on a different PC running an older version of Acrobat, the file appeared perfectly fine!
