How do I insert glyphs or special characters in Adobe Acrobat Pro

I am constantly needing to add special characters and glyphs in my comments within an adobe acrobat pro document and have not figured out how to do that. The symbol I need to insert most is Ø, but there are other symbols that I also need to add.

Please help!!!

I have the most recent 2023 version of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
