How do I make the comments view more compact?

I use comments extensively and I was just forced to update from X Pro to Acrobat Pro DC. It's mostly fine, but I can't stand how few comments I can see at one time. There is SO much extra padding and such. How do I compact view them?

Well that's awful.  I wonder how many versions back I'd need to go to get something usable. My office auto-updated me and so far I do not like it one bit.
