Is there a simple method to take two 5.5" x 8.5" documents and merge them into a single 11" x 8.5" pdf file? I know how to combine documents, that is not what I want to do. I want to end up witht these two 5.5" x 8.5" documents, side by side on a single page. I am trying to create a flyuer that you can fold in half. This should be an easy thing to do but I cannot find any anwers anywhere except from some convoluted responses using Chrome.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest way to do that is to use InDesign and to place your two documents on the target pages. You will need to have access to InDesign, however. It will also work with Illustrator, quite the same way.

An alternative is to print the documents ā€œfit to pageā€ to the Adobe PDF printer, with the paper size being the target paper size. Then you can combine the two documents. This solution does not work for macOS, as Apple disallows virtual printers.
