I wanted to print double sided from adobe reader on my mac it would not give me the option to print directly from a down loaded file with an email
I tried to print another document infact an email page it gave me double sided option why can't i print from adobe reader ?
Hi dianah71252428,
Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat let you print double-sided if your printer supports that feature. The printer driver controls the options, not Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader. Check your printer documentation to see what features your printer supports. (Double-sided printing is also called duplex, back to back, front and back, or two-sided printing.)
Refer to this KB doc. for help Print double-sided | Adobe Acrobat, Reader‌

It's difficult to follow your message as this is a thread about not being able to print double sided and your problem is different.
I would create a new thread for this.
Please sate your OS and version and your printer and driver version.
On my printers (Canon production printer, HP Pagewide printer) and with Windows 7 and 10, printing works fine in all apps, including Acrobat.
My experience shows that most of the problems arise from the printer driver. This has nothing to do with other applications, as Adobe seams to use the OS more consistently. This is quite important when printing in a professional environment. However, most of the consumer printers lack in quality with the printer driver implementation.

Thank you for your response.
The first problem does have to do with double-sided printing though you are correct. I did create another thread but did not receive a response after over a month....
We use a mix of Mac OS and Windows 7 and 10. All of the forementioned have the first problem of printing odd paged documents incorrectly when printing more than one copy. This problem does not occur on any other programs other than Acrobat Reader. We use HP Officejet Pro x576dw.
