I been trying to scan old bank statements, with adobe scan, saving as pdf’s And then exporting them to either word or excell, but I can’t get the formatting to be replicated.
i would like the outpit in a table or event better 4 columns in excell with a new row for each date.
any help greatfully received as over 100 pages to do

As you have mentioned above, you are using Adobe Scan to scan the bank statements and then exporting them to Word or Excel.
There may be some formatting issues as the PDF is scanned. The quality of the output of the exporting PDF to other format depends on the quality of the input.
As already mentioned here Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and formatting information?: If your PDF file was originally authored using simpler PDF generation methods, such as “print to PDF” or “scan to PDF” options, Adobe ExportPDF will convert any recognizable text and then use sophisticated conversion intelligence to preserve as much of the page layout as possible.
