How do I tab quickly between documents in Acrobat

New Here ,

I just got the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and I am NOT happy.

The new verison puts all my documents in Tabs and now I can't use Command ~ to switch back and forth quickly.

This is not good.  I work with multiple PDFs open at once all day every day.  I want to switch with keyboard cuz its faster than the trackpad.

I cannot find any answers in help files about this.

I'm about to cancel the subscription.  I can't work this way!

There has GOT to be a keyboard command way for me to do this.  Someone please tell me what it is.

You can disable the tabs feature, via Acrobat - Preferences - General, and then uncheck "Open documents as new tabs in the same window".
