How do you arrange comment markup objects (shapes, lines...)

New Here ,

I cannot to get the arrange tool ("send to back" or "bring to front") to work in with markup objects (shapes, lines) "edit pdf" like I can with images. It appears that shapes and lines are not considered objects.

I've also tried to rearrange via the content section on the lh panel but that does not work either. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Bundy

It seems that the stacking order of the objects has to do with the timestamp they were first placed on the page. So if you click on one in the back, cut it, then paste it, that will move it to the front of the stack.

If you would like Adobe to consider adding this as a feature: you can post a feature request here: Acrobat for Windows and Mac: Top (1661 ideas) – Share your feedback on Acrobat DC

Hi Document Geek,

Thank you for the response. I can use this as a work around for now.

I have just submitted a feature request to enable the "Arrange Objects" icon to be used with shape/line objects.
