How does one get rid of this hideous middle, vertical page line?

Essentially what I'm trying to accomplish in Acrobat is to restore an old PDF by replacing the scans of said PDF with better, uncompressed scans. However, this stubborn and puzzling page split line is intruding on attempting to remaster my PDF. Note, the scans in question, including the old scans do not contain a line, nor do the new ones contain this line. It does not even behave or seem to be an object that can be directly editable and just a side effect of an older PDF production. I will provide a screenshot of this anomoly below. The line represents the spine of the PDF from the looks of it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Believe it or not I actually sorta solved it, however I may've found a better method of approaching this restoration, so stay tuned!
