how to add a simple signature field

New Here ,

I am looking to create the standard finger-drawn signature field on a editable pdf form to be used on an iPad app.    I do not need or want digital signature, or fill & sign functionality, just the simple signature for our cusotmers to sign.

There's no such field that does that. Simply use the Pencil commenting tool.

First you have to be using either the Acrobat Mobile app and Readdle PDF Expert.

PDF Expoert convert the "Signature" field into a drawn signature (also called a Wet Signature). When the user clicks on it they are prompted to draw a signature.

Acrobat Mobile provides a drawn signature tool. The user has to first create the signature, then they can apply it anywhere on the PDF. It's basically a wet signature stamp that is then immediately flattened into the page content.

I also have the same issue, I do not want a digital signature field but a field that can be used to sign (with your finger on mobile touch screen OR mouse/touchpad on a computer)... I have just been sent a PDF's like this, they used Adobe Sign and it gave several options like this or adding a image etc... The problem I have found with adobe sign is that you need to specify who you are sending the PDF to sign to, rather than in my case, which is a fillable PDF held on a company server that can be picked up by staff and signed and saved as a new file. Surely these is the capability to do this?
