How to add a specific shortcut for inserting signature fields in Adobe Acrobat Pro?

New Here ,

Hi,
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro (latest version) and I would like to add a shortcut to the Quick Tools bar for inserting specific form fields, such as a signature field. Previously, I had this functionality configured, but now I can only add the "Edit Form" tool to the bar, which requires me to open it and manually select the signature field afterward.

I've reviewed the customization options, but I can't find a way to directly add the tool for inserting a signature field (or any other specific field) without going through "Edit Form" first.

Does anyone know if this is possible in the current version or if the method has changed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Are you using the new UI or the old one?

Hi!

I'm using the older version, but a colleague is using the newer one, and it's the same issue: "Add Signature Field" is not available under "Prepare Form" (as it used to be, if I'm not mistaken).

I have all the form fields under Prepare Form.

It looks like they might have dumped that functionality in your last update.

I was afraid of that, although it puzzles me why...

I can't find it either now, but it used to be there, and it still appears in my Quick Tools Toolbar from earlier... Adobe's ability to introduce bugs and problems to Acrobat seems to be endless. Let's hope they fix it in a future version.

I turned off automatic updates a while ago because of this, and the problem of disruptions to my work when Adobe decides to take over the software for me.

I would too, but I need to keep an updated version so I could provide support for my clients... It's a pain.

Tell your client to revert to the older UI:

I know how to do it, but that's not always an option for people. Many companies (and individuals) think that the latest is the greatest and are not willing to consider the opposite.

I don't even have that option anymore; the latest update must have removed it too.

LATEST

Please ignore me, I misundertood, I do have that option. Still, new or old UI, it doesn't fix the problem.
