How to batch delete comments with replies

I am trying to delete sticky note comments. However, if the sticky note has a reply, I have to delete the original comment then I am left with the reply and have to delete that after. Is there a way to just delete both at the same time?
Finally, when I sort by comment type, I cannot delete all of them even if I select them all. The "Delete" option is greyed out.
Can someone advise on the two above issues?

Both of these things can be achieved using a script. Although deleting a parent comment manually should also remove its reply, I believe. Same goes for deleting filtered comments...

Deleteing a parent note only removes that parent note but the reply stays and becomes its own separate note. When I filter comments by "type" and then select those to delete, Adobe selects all comments regardless of what I filtered them by. Is there a fix?
As for the script, is there a script that I can use already or do I have to formally request one?
Thank you

- Re deleting a comment with a reply: Yes, you are correct. That is odd behavior.
- Re deleting filtered comments: It works fine for me. Which version of Acrobat are you using, exactly, and how are you selecting and deleting those comments?
Scripts are developed by third-party developers (such as myself), usually for a fee. It's not something you can request from Adobe.

Thank you for your swift reply.
Re: deleting comment with reply: No fix then? Glitch?
Re: Regarding version, I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023.006.20380. I am filtering by type, then Clicking one comment, scrolling to the bottom and clicking "Shift" to select all the comments. However, when I do this, every single comment type, gets chosen, including ones with replies, and will not let me delete.

- Fixes can only come from Adobe. I don't work for them or speak on their behalf. Best I can do it offer to develop a script that will allow you to do it.
- I tested it in an older version and it worked correctly. In the new version it does indeed work (or doesn't work) as you've described. This is definitely a bug, one of many we've seen with the latest versions of Acrobat/Reader, unfortunately.
You can report both issues here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Thank you so much for looking into this for me. I'd appreciate a script. Please let me know how I should request one from you. I will report both issues to Adobe in the mean time. Thank you for the link.
