How to change white audio player button – Or at least make the white background transparent

I have exported a 30-slide PowerPoint 2019 presentation as a PDF file… Everything is perfect and exactly the way I want except…

The exception is with regard to the audio player button for the narration I have for each of the 30 slides. No matter how I changed the icon for the player button inside PowerPoint, Acrobat ignores my changes and continues to only display the play button with an ugly white background that is not even properly centered around the play button.

Since I distribute these PDF files to my clients I would like to improve the looks of these by fixing this one OCD-aggravating issue.

No matter how much I research Big Brother Google and Big Sister YouTube, joy has eluded me. It's hard to imagine that I am the only person that would like to improve the aesthetics when including audio for a PDF slideshow.

I would greatly appreciate someone telling me what I am overlooking that is most probably a cockpit problem by me!

Thanks,

Robert

I never included Audio in a PDF.

You should post a page of what you did in both, PDF and PowerPoint. Eventually, to keep it private, create a sample file.

How did you create the PDF file?

I created the PDF by using the export function inside of PowerPoint 2019.

However, I get the same exact result by converting to a PDF using PDF Maker which is an add-on for PowerPoint.

I've attached two JPEGs: one the way the sound icon looks inside a PowerPoint presentation and the other a screengrab of the sound icon as it looks after converting to a PDF. I tried replacing the icon inside of PowerPoint and still end up with the same ugly white box surrounding whatever icon I use for play sound.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Robert

PS: I inadvertently added a link to my YouTube video that I thought I deleted before I did the post. I do not see a way to edit my post to take that out! I could've sworn there was an edit function on this board! Please let me know if there's a way for me to edit this post.
