How to Display pdf incorrect format

I need help accessing my pdf that I have been updating. All of a sudden it will not allow me to open it, stating it is in an invalid format.

Can an earlier version be accessed? If so, how?

Where are you accessing it from? Where is the file saved?

What is the exact text of the message you're getting? Can you post a screenshot of it?
Also, can you share the file in question with us?
