OK, I have a JPG that I need to draw a straight line on.   If I use the draw line tool it is not straight no matter how I try to do it by hand.  Similarly, if I use the highlight tool and try highlight with straight lines I cant do that either.    How can I draw or highlight in straight lines?  Free hand isnt cutting it for me.  Thanks.

Use the polygon tool. It will only draw in straight lines.

Sadly, there is no way to make this behave like the regular highlighter tool (at least not in Acrobat). You can sort of mimic a highlighter effect by adding a fill and reducing the opacity.

*OK, thanks. I will try it that way instead.*

The worst tool that I have ever seen in software. Looks like I have had a couple of double Scotches before trying to highlight.  Very frustrating and you'd think after all this time, Adobe would have caught on to all the criticism and fixed the dumb highlighter.
