How to ensure clicked hyperlinks (In an MS Word document) to PDF documents open at a specific page

Dear Sirs/Madam

I include many hyperlinks to PDFs in MS Word documents.  I would like many of the clicked hyperlinks to ensure that the PDF is opened at a fixed page.

I cannot seem to do it.  In order to simplify things I have moved one particular file from the office shared S drive onto my local C drive.

The hyperlink address is as follows.

C:\Gerry\J239\J239-0201-Rev 03 - Combined Contract.pdf#page=14

However, it does not open at page 14. It opens at page 1 (as always)

Can you advise how I can get the hyperlinks to open at a fixed page.

I have the same question.  You used to be able to add "#page=x" to the hyperlink, but that does not work now.  I am using Excel 2019 and Adobe DC.  Thanks.

It's not possible to do it from an Excel link.
