Could you please describe the steps you are performing, and what it is you are attempting to do? I'm a bit confused by your post. {sorry}. Are you making links in a PDF, or are you linking to a PDF from html?
Thanks,
Dave

This might seem dumb but I struggled with this same error for hyperlinks. The fix that worked for me was to switch to edit text mode, cut out the hyperlink, rerun the Full Check in Accessibility then paste the hyperlink text back in. The reader seemed to add the correct link tag to the hyperlink when I reinserted it. No need for strangled tag hunting and rebranding....

Thanks for your input, but I'm not having such luck. Here is my situation. I converted a Word file to a .pdf using Acrobat Pro DC. The file is full of hyperlinks, some of which made it just fine and others didn't. I have 30 instances of tagged anotation - fail. The tags for the hyperlinks are in the tag tree. I have run the Find > Unmarked Annotations and the Find > Unmarked Links, both to completion. I have tried to delete links and then create them. Nothing seems to work. I am at my wit's end. I don't undertsand what the annotations are nor how to fix them. Any advice would be welcome, as I am about ready to concede defeat.
