How to flatten fillable fields after a form is emailed using "Submit a Form" button

I created a fillable form that will be emailed to my organization when a person clicks a button. I used these instructions to add a button that "executes a menu item": https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/setting-action-buttons-pdf-forms.html. The URL for the link is "mailto:MYORGANIZATION@EMAIL.COM". The problem is that the form is still in fillable format when we receive it. How can I make the form flatten, as if printed to PDF, when that button is clicked?

You can only do that if all the users of the file will have Adobe Acrobat. It won't work with the free Reader.

Alternatively, if you want to lock the values of the form fields you can have them digitally sign the file before submitting it. That's a much more secure way of doing it, too, than just flattening the file.
