How to get a form reanalyzed and new field automatically reapplied

New Here ,
Dec 21, 2023 Dec 21, 2023

Hi,

I had to modify a form and add multiple new areas. It will be very time consuming and tedious to build out the new fields. How can I have Acrobat reanalyze and apply new fields automatically like when you start from a new pdf that is field free. When you start with a new pdf document and Acrobat asks if you want it to apply fields automatically.

How can you get Acrobat to do that with a form you have worked with already?

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks,

Glenn

You would have to delete all form fields from the file, save it, close it, and then re-open it and go to Prepare Form mode.

Hi TRY67,

Thank you very much for the reply and information. I was sure I tried that and it didn't work. Then I started trying other things and got frustrated. After following your instructions it worked.

Thanks,

Glenn
