Is there any way to remove the blue form boxes when opening it in chrome or microsoft edge? I've looked through a lot of forums and I've done it on acrobat to not show the blue box but it still shows up blue in webpages. I've even tried to change the form box colours but the blue colour still shows up.

It's possible to embed a script in the file that is supposed to turn off the fields highlighting, but it's unlikely that it will work in any non-Adobe application.

Is there really no other way to get rid of those blue boxes? It ruins the color scheme of the entire pdf.

No, because it's a user-setting. They decide whether or not to show them.
