How to get rid of graph outlining in Adobe?

I clicked a few buttons simultaneously and then these cross sectional boxes are showing up in all of my PDFs. I was wondering what shortcut / keys to press to get rid of these boxes. See attached pictured.

On the menu bar "View => Show/Hide => Rulers & Guides => Grid"  or use the <Ctrl> + U key combination.
