Hello,
how is it possible to find out programmaticaly which Acrobat Version is installed? (Acrobat Reader / Acrobat Professional)
You may find this information in the Enterprise Toolkit: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/index.html
I would think that getting the information directly from the application is the more reliable method. Even though you may find version information in the registry, the application may no longer be installed, or in a state that it can run.

Are you trying to do this from within Acrobat (e.g. in a JavaScript program), or from another application? For the first case, look here: https://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/acrobat_dc_sdk/2015/HTMLHelp/index.html#t=Acro12_MasterBook%2FJ...

We have a .Net program from where I would like to access the information. I could install the SDK but I would prefer to avoid it if not absolutely necessary.
Is there maybe a reliable way to find out the installed Adobe versions through the registry?
