Hello,

When I insert an image via Add stamp -> Paste Clipboard Image As Stamp Tool, the image is inserted on top of the document.

How can I collapse the image, in order to prevent hiding the text in the document?

You cannot do that with a Comment tool.

You should use the "Add image " edit tool.

Thanks for the response, however, briging the image to the front results in the same appearance as the option I mentioned in my question, since it doesn't let me collapse the image

It is possible to expand/collapse an image as a PDF form application that uses JavaScript and the Acrobat/JavaScript API. If the authoring tools you are currently using do not satisfy your requirements then you should consider developing an authoring tool that would generate the expand/collapse image tool as a PDF form application. ‘Some Ideas on “How to Expand/Collapse an Image in PDF”’ presents some ideas on how to do this and it includes an example of an image that can be expanded and collapsed.
