Hi,
When editing a PDF I add text, and I would prefer red as the standard color. But standard the color is black.
How set the color by default?

How are you adding the text, exactly? Is it a form field? A comment? Static text? Something else?
Also, what version of Acrobat are you using?

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, version 2018.011.20040 (windows) and same on the MacBook.
Edit PDF > Add Text.
The Menu Preferences > Content Editing allows only the font and its size, not the color.

In that case it's really not possible, but you're welcome to submit a feature request:

I want this functionality also, but when I try to submit a feature it doesn't have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC in the list. The site is too complicated.

I'd also welcome setting default, when editing existing text.

If you add text with fill and sign it holds the color you chose.

If you use the "Add Text" feature through the edit toolbar, you can't change the default. If you use the "Text" feature through the comment toolbar, you can set the default to a different color and keep it. Only way I know to have "Text" tool available is to pin it to my quick access bar, go to the comments tools. Not sure how else to enable it.

Thank you for this! We shouldn't have to use this as a workaround, but I'm glad we can. Have a great day.
