I have created a PDF document with hyperlinks that point to documents (PDF and Excel) that are on a internal network.
If a user opens the document using Adobe Reader (version ), from the network location, the hyperlinks work.
If the document is emailed by the default function of Adobe, the hyperlinks are still visibale but they no longer work (Link is not responding anymore) .
The link is created by the default PDF function in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version 2015.006.30527.)
It is important that the links is not chance, and keeps working upon emailing and saving.
Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Before you create the links put the document on a other device. Then you will get absolute links.

Does you use relative or absolute links?

Hello Bernd,
It seems that upon making the link, it is a relative link.
When i send it, it is somehow convert the absolute link.
If a user tries to open the link, is shows a absolute link.

Hi Bernd,
On a lokal network (domainserver).
Users have access to this location.
