I installed a couple of fonts from Adobe Fonts site. Namely Blue Goblet and Typeka. I installed on my computer using Adobe Cloud. However, for some reason I can select Blue Goblet as a font for a text form field (under "Appearance") with no errors, and it shows perfectly on any computer and on other pdf readers as well (Chrome, Edge etc) but when I select Typeka font it gives this error:
"The selected font cannot be embedded in the PDF file because of licensing restrictions. If the PDF file is viewed on a system that does not have this font installed, Adobe Acrobat will simulate the appearance of the font. To preview the simulated font appearance, turn off Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Use Local Fonts."
Both fonts are installed from Adobe and why one works other doesnt? Is there any restriction in some fonts to be used in form fields? As far as I see on Adobe fonts site, they all have license to be embedded.
Is this a bug from Adobe? Even the error message is outdated as there is no "Use Local Fonts" option anymore under "Page Display".

Some fonts can't be embedded, yes. If you think the licensing for this font is misleading report it to Adobe or to the foundry that created it (T.26: https://www.t26.com/).

About embedding and using it, Adobe says:
Any file which embeds the font data, such as PDF or image formats, and any text that has been rasterized or outlined, will continue to display correctly. These types of files may be reproduced and distributed independent of your subscription status.

Either the documentation of what is allowed (and not allowed) with the font is incorrect, or the implementation of it is incorrect, then. Either way, I recommend contacting the foundry.

I tried a dozen of other fonts after creating this thread, none worked.(only font worked was blue goblet) There is something wrong with either Adobe fonts site or acrobat software. Contacting single foundry will not solve anything..

Nope. This option has been discontinued in the newest version. Confirmed with the Adobe customer service agent.

You 're right and it's a good news, it was too confusing for users.
