I cannot stop blue popup "tips" from appearing

There are 10 screens full of messages back and forth about the above subject WITH NO ACTUAL SOLUTION (I use a Mac). Please will someone of credibility from Adobe either verify that "It cannot be done" or else give an actual, working solution.
