I don't want another app!

I used to be able to share a pdf by text, with anyone who had a smart phone.  Now I try to share a pdf and I'm sent to a site and asked to sign up for WHATSAPP.  I don't want to use another app, I don't know if the people I share with will have whatsapp.   Please take a step back and make it easier for sharing pdf's.

@active_Enchantment5143 I just shared a file as a test, and maybe it's how I do it because I don't see the WhatsApp on my end (even though I do have it on my device!)—to create the shareable link, use your smartphone's native "Messages" or "Text" app to send the link, rather than using Acrobat's direct "Share via App" options.
