Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out. Once your PDF has been converted to a Word document, you can easily move it to your desktop by following these steps:

  • Locate the converted file — Open the folder where the Word (.docx) file was saved. If you used Acrobat online, check your Downloads folder, or go to https://adobe.ly/4opt8zi and look under Your Files.

  • Move the file to your Desktop — Right-click the file, then select “Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)” or “Cut” and “Paste” it onto your desktop.

  • If you’re on Mac, simply drag and drop the file from Finder to your desktop.

Hope this will help.

@GAL2177 it depends where you saved the file? On your Mac pr PC, open Finder and navigate to the folder where the DOCX file was saved. Click and drag the Word file from that folder to your Desktop. You can also right-click the file and choose Copy, then go to your Desktop and right-click again to Paste.

Did you access the pdf from an email? If so, the Word version is probably saved into the saved folder.

Alternatively, save the file again saving it to a known location.
