what is the exact name of the plan or product you subscribed to, as shown in your account page, please? Our problem is that Acrobat costs around twice that, so it isn't clear what you have. If you purchased from non-Adobe page, please link.
In addition to what Test Screen Name said, also verify that you are using what you purchased and not Reader. If you already had Acrobat/Adobe Reader on your computer, it's possible that the document you just opened to Edit opened directly into Reader.
And, please verify the Acrobat version number you bought and what your OS is.
