Hi!
I create forms in Acrobat Standard and save as Reader Enabled for others to use in all versions of the free Reader and I'd like to be able to test how they work in the free Reader.
In the past I couldn't have the free Reader and a paid version of Adobe on my computer at the same time, it didn't work.
How do I test the forms in the free Reader to make sure they're working the way they need to?
Thank you so much!
Diane

A second computer. Dual boot. Or a VM.
By the way, Reader Enabling no longer applies to old versions of Reader, and the current version doesn't need it.

Hi! I'm sorry, I've been "out" for a while... Thank you so much for your reply!
Can you please explain a bit more about "Reader Enabling no longer applies" and "current version doesn't need it"? (or should I ask this in a separate thread? or is there somewhere I can read about it so that I'm not taking up your time?)
Are you saying that when I create a fillable document in Adobe Acrobat, a person using the free Reader can fill it in and save it after filling it in even if I don't "Reader Enable" it? Are they able to edit it as well after filling it in and saving it?
If yes, is there a different use for the "Reader Enable" function? Just asking because I'm wondering why it's still in the software and I don't want to do something wrong and end up with angry customers. 🙂
Thank you again so much for your time and response!! 🙂

In addition, to what Test Screen Name suggests, do you have any friends you could ask for help on this?

Hi! My apologies to you as well, I've been "out" for awhile...
Unfortunately, they're using at least one step above the free Reader...
I'll have to dig out my other computer, ugh, no place to put it, lol.
Thank you again!!
