Hi,

If a PDF document is opened in Acrobat Pro DC for MacOS, hand tool appears in other apps instead of the default pointer of the apIf a PDF document is opened in Acrobat Pro DC for MacOS, hand tool appears in other appsp. See the attached exaple video: if a PDF is opened, Excel's pointer randomly switches for the hand tool instead of the cross. If I close the PDF, Excel behaves normally, the pointer is the cross.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version, go to Help > About Acrobat and ensure you have the recent version 23.01.2017X installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Check for any missing/pending updates for Mac OS and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and check.
