Image Resolution Drops When Converting to PDF

Hi everyone,

I've been using Adobe software for a while, and I recently ran into an issue when converting documents to PDF. Whenever I convert a document containing images (whether from Word, InDesign, or another format) to PDF, I notice that the image resolution significantly decreases. The images look clear and sharp in the original file, but after the conversion, they appear pixelated or blurry in the PDF.

I’ve tried adjusting the settings before converting, but the issue persists. Is there a specific setting or process I’m missing that could help maintain the original image quality in the PDF? I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to fix this problem.

For your reference PDF is attached.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @fenella_1361,

I understand how frustrating it can be when you cannot work with the basic work requirements for an application. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and sharing your experiences.

Please know that we are fully committed to addressing issues like this and ensuring the app functions smoothly for all users. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and we’re actively working to resolve this problem.

If you’re still experiencing this issue, I encourage you to share any additional details or steps that led to it. This will assist us in diagnosing and fixing the issue more effectively.

If you are using Acrobat Pro, you may have access to Acrobat Web as well: https://acrobat.com. Try converting a file using Acrobat Web, and let us know how it works.

If the experience is still not up to the expectations on both the Desktop app and the Web, please share the source and PDF files with us. We will review and provide you with more details
