Hi - Got a single A4 pdf with a large image in the top third. All looks good in Acrobat - but - if I drag the pdf into a browser window - the document appears without the image. Anyone got any ideas what needs doing to fix that? Thanks - Paul

We only need to view the pdf within the browser, so this ought to be do-able?
The pdf is uploaded to a global DAM system, accessed via browser. Installing global, company-wide, additional extensions/sharing methods, etc, is not an option.
Thanks for help, but doesn't look like this is a known thing/there's an obvious answer.
I'm guessing it might have something to do with how the pdf was created? (probably through InDesign) - I'll give that group a go, and see if it's something anyone there has come across.

Hi,
can you confirm the operating system and software you are using?
Also, can you indicate the settings you used to save the pdf.
Have you tried different browsers and is this happening for this pdf only or other pdf's have the same issue?

@Paul5E4C : Almost all browsers today use their technology to view PDFs. Sadly, we can't control that.
If the issue persists while viewing the Acrobat or Reader application file, please let us know.
You may try using the Acrobat Browser extension. And check if that helps

Thanks, but any idea what could be causing the problem? Adding a browser extension wont help as the document needs to be viewable across a large compnay. Getting everyone to install an extension isn't an option. Once it's uploaded into our DAM system - the system is accessed within a browser. So the document appears incorrectly.

@Paul5E4C :
Most third-party browser PDF viewing technology is limited to viewing and printing files. And may not be respecting all the features or PDF standards.
Alternatively, you may try sharing the PDF files using the Share feature of Adobe Acrobat.
