Inconsistent Form Error when Printing

I created (with much help from this forum's experts) a PDF form which is then emailed to a client. When attempting to print the emailed PDF file from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, some are getting the error below:
"An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem."
Sometimes it still prints after clicking OK on the error window. When they try to print it a second time, no error appears and the PDF file is printed. I have a similar form and it prints without errors. When I try to replicate the issue, I am not getting the error. I have reviewed other posts with this same error mentioned but they are not like this issue.
When the form is submitted to email, the fields are locked. Wouldn't that make the form just a simple PDF?
Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, when trying to print the Emailed PDF from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC some users are getting the error 'An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.'
We need some more information for a better understanding:
- Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you did to create the PDF form?
- How are the users accessing the PDF file? Are they opening the PDF preview in the email application and trying to quick print from there? If yes, please ask them to save the PDF locally to their computer and then open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and print .
- What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC they are using? Please make sure that they are using the latest version 21.01.20142 available. Go to Help > Check for updates.
Also, would it be possible to share the PDF form with us as described in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html so that we can check it at our end.
Regards

Hi there
I am sorry for the delay in response. As mentioned the users are using the version 21.01.20135, please ask them to update the application to the latest version 21.01.20145. Go to Help > Check for Updates.
You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html and reboot the computer once and check.
Also I have found that the PDF is created from MS Word PDF producer, please try to create the PDF using Adobe Acrobat DC application as described https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/how-to/create-pdf-files-word-excel-website.html and see if that helps.
Regards
Amal
