With a self-developed programme (under Delphi XE2 with the Rave Reports components) I create PDF files.
The development takes place under Win 10 / German operating system.
The display of the PDFs on my development computer and on other test computers is error-free. If the programme is run on the customer's computer in China, the PDFs are no longer displayed correctly. I use the Verdana font as specified. This font is not displayed correctly in the created PDFs. The display also varies according to the viewer (Acrobat Reader, Edge, Firefox...).
In the picture you can see the representation of the Verdana font. The error also occurs with other fonts.
Does anyone have an idea where the problem is

Did you know that Adobe is not the owner of PDF? Adobe initially created the PDF format, but since it has been taken over by ISO. Adobe only creates tools around PDF (Acrobat Reader, Acrobat DC and Acrobat DC Pro) and different programs that export or write PDF files. So, whatever you have created in whatever program that is not from Adobe does not really concern Adobe.
This said, could you check if the font is embedded? If it is not embedded, is it on the target system installed? If you answer both of my questions with no, you have isolated the cause.
If not, someone needs to dive deeper into the file.
