Incorrect Print dimensions (print page size)

So, recently my page sizes are all wrong when printing PDFs-before they were just fine.

I want to print an A3, when I select A3 as page size on the Print Dialog Box, the preview seems fine. When I actually print the page, the printed page is in size A4 (takes up only a portion of the A3 size page).

The same happens when I try to print any page size. If I am trying to print A4, the preview looks normal and the printed page comes out as A5 size instead.

I have checked and have the latest drivers for my printer and no new updates for Acrobat DC as well. I am running Windows 10, 64bit system.

Looking forward to a reply,

ivan

What application do you use?

Why do you want to PRINT to a PDF? You should not do so in a normal case.

If you use InDesign, export.

If you use Photoshop or Illustrator save as.

If you use Office Save as Adobe PDF.

Hi Will,

On Adobe Acrobat DC, when I open a PDF file and send the command to a printer to print, the printed dimensions didn't match the page size dimensions.

I wasn't too precise about what the problem was but I got the solution which was very simple.

I had enabled the checkbox "Choose Paper Source by PDF page size." Disabling this fixed the problem.

Thanks for your reply.
